Community Rules

Our Community, Community Servers and Community Discord is focused on providing an inclusive, fun place to meet people, play games and have some fun. This Community Guidelines and Rules are subject to change and the interpretation of them is entirely at the discretion of @Imaflanker and the Moderation Team. These apply to all interaction in our community Discord, Games and Servers and actions taken off platform can impact your membership of this community.

Core Principles

The core principles for our community are that everyone should feel welcome, language should be kept to roughly a PG13 level and you should bear in mind others enjoyment of the game.

  • We’re all here to have fun!
  • Always treat others in a way you’d expect to be treated.
  • Don’t be an Arse
    A test for this is don’t post anything in your interactions you wouldn’t happily put with your face on a billboard & message to your employer.
  • You must obey the Discord Community Guidelines (https://discord.com/new/guidelines) &Terms of Service (https://discord.com/new/terms)
  • You must adhere to our Community Rules (below)
  • In addition to our Community Rules you must adhere to the Welsh Gaming Network (WGN) community rules when utilising any of their servers.

Our Server/Stream Rules

These are in addition to all of the rules posted elsewhere including following Discord and Twitch Terms of Service.

Minimum Age

You must be at least 16 to play on any of our community servers. For servers for games with a higher age rating (PEGI or ESRB) then the minimum age to play those games on stream or in our community server is this higher rating.

Our Community Rules

We are primarily an English speaking community and we do not permit communication in other languages as we do not have the moderation staff to police it.

  • No Flaming
    This includes any and all insults or attacks on other members. Be polite!
  • No Trolling
    This includes posting controversial messages purely to create drama or get a negative response.
  • No Spam/Advertisements
    Advertisements that are not approved by the moderation team are not permitted.
  • Self Promotion
    We love supporting the awesome streamers and creative people in our community and we have specific channels for Self Promotion in our Discord. For Streams/VoD’s they should be promoted in the #?going-live channel using the !live command. For other creative content (including YouTube Videos, Facebook Channels, Graphics, Art, Articles, Twitter etc. ) you should post to the #?shameless-self-promotion channel. Please ensure you post in the appropriate places as it helps keep our Discord easy to use. You can contact one of the Discord Mods where your promotion would be appropriate for.
  • Respect the Moderators
    If a moderator asks you not to do something, you are asked to respect and listen to them. If you have a problem with their request, you can have a chat privately to the rest of the team to resolve it. The final decision will always rest with @Imaflanker . The moderators give up their free time to help support the community and make it the awesome place it is.
  • Inappropriate Content
    Do not post content that is discriminatory, hateful or offensive in any way, including race, religion, gender, sexuality, political views or other.
  • Adult Content
    We have a zero tolerance policy towards pornographic content or adult content should not be posted anywhere including using in game chat, Discord, in Direct Messages with other community members or on our website.
  • Illegal Content
    Our Discord, Game Servers and Websites apply UK Law. Please don’t post anything that would be considered illegal in the UK.
  • Personal Information
    Please be aware that the moderators cannot control what happens to any information or pictures you post in our community Discord. Always be careful with personal information. A staff member will never ask you for specific personal details, financial details, or password information. We strongly advise against sharing any personal information.
  • Harassment
    Do not organize, participate in, or encourage harassment or abuse of others including any action that may cause harm to them. Disagreements happen and are normal, but continuous, repetitive, or severe negative comments may cross the line into harassment and are not okay.
  • Mental & Physical Health We have a large and varied community and many people in our community have or do suffer from Mental and Physical Health challenges. We take a very dim view of any actions that can cause harm to others health including but not limited to taking advantage of another’s mental state, bullying or threats. In cases we become aware of we may decide to not only issue a ban but report the behaviour to Twitch, Discord and the Authorities. This kind of behaviour is Illegal in the UK:

    “43 Improper use of public telecommunication system. [F1(1)A person who— (a) Sends, by means of a public telecommunication system, a message or other matter that is grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character; or (b) Sends by those means, for the purpose of causing annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety to another, a message that he knows to be false or persistently makes use for that purpose of a public telecommunication system, shall be guilty of an offence and liable on summary conviction to [F2 imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale or both]”
